Another Day Trip!

This time to Deeside ice rink and Blue Planet Aquarium.

We took my neice & nephew and my sister-in-law. Fun was had by all - oh, and a couple of bruised bottoms!!

I didn't get too many photographs at the ice rink as I had to register my camera before I was allowed to point the lens at the ice rink. By the time I learned that it was too late as Thomas was hungry and Emily had just fallen over and was crying. Oh well, here we go...Firstly are the pics of ice skating. Second in line are the photos from Blue Planet (I haven't got round to editing the majority of them yet!

Mwahahahaha! I have an Easter Egg!

And it was from Thorntons...and it's the prettiest egg ever...and and and...it's nearly all gone!!

Good job I took pictures of this perfect little egg! It was so tasty! Mmmmm!
I wonder if they'll all be reduced on Monday?

The beach is so boring...

My original plans for today were to go to Chester Zoo, and spend the day walking around and photographing the animals. I went to pick up my Mum & Nan and they decided they no longer wanted to go.

My Dad said he'd like to go to the beach and I could take some photographs there instead...I imagined a nice scenic beach with lots of patterned sand and mountain views...We ended up in Fairbourne. It's not awful, but there was very little sand, just stones/pebbles.

I attempted to take lots of photographs (as usual) but the weather was crap. I was frozen and almost breaking my ankle on the stones every 2 minutes. I managed to get a few action shots of the dogs.

From there we visited my Aunty Fran, who lives in Llwyngwril. I ended up photographing some flowers in her garden because I thought that todays photographs were too dark and gloomy!

It wasn't as good as a trip to Chester Zoo, but I got to spend all day with my Dad which was fun. I wish he'd fancied the zoo or aquarium though!!

Happy birthday Emily!

My neice turns 7 today. Wow, where did the time go?

She's still as beautiful as ever, and we'll be taking her for a day out next weekend. I think she wants to go ice skating...Well, Des can skate with her whilst I look after Thomas. Don't think I can handle the embarassment of falling on my ass! After that I think we'll go to KFC for dinner and maybe to the Welsh Mountain Zoo, since I haven't been there for years!

Happy birthday swetheart! Have a fabulous day!

I hate arguing =(

Des and I had an argument a couple of hours ago. It was actually me shouting at him and he just ignored me which makes things a million times worse!

He moans at me when he cooks something and I don't eat it all. When I say moan, I mean he goes on and on and on about wasting food and how I should force myself to eat it and yadda yadda yadda.

Well since December, we've really struggled with money. We just about made ends meet before, but when Des lost his manager position we took a huge pay cut. He's since changed to working early shifts so has lost his shift premium too. That's about £500 a month we've lost. That £500 is the mortgage payment.

Anyway, the last time we did a proper food shop was before Christmas. We have been living on 8p super noodles and cheap 10p bread. We used the credit card to do a proper shop this week. We spent over £100 and bought loads of freezer stuff, tins, fruit & veg...The works. Most of it was own brand stuff, but we did buy decent toilet roll and a loaf of nice bread.

Last night we made ourselves a pizza. We bought 2 cheap pizza bases and added ham, cheese, green pepper, onion and herbs. We only used 1 pizza base, so the other needed wrapping up and putting in the fridge. For dinner we'd had ham salad wraps. Each pack of tortilla wraps comes in a pack of 8. We used 4 for our dinner, so there were 4 left. Des promised he had done this.

When I got up today, I went to get myself an apple out of the fridge and noticed that the remaining pizza base and the 4 wraps had just been thrown in the fridge without being wrapped up and they had gone hard. This is like a whole days food for 2 of us and it had to be thrown away.

I screamed at him and really went mad. He ignored me completely, too engrossed in playing on his x-box 360.

I'm not happy. A lot of the food we bought was fresh, so will start going off over the next couple of days. I could seriously cry about it.

So, we'll probably we waiting another 3+ months before doing a proper food shop.

We're actually struggling that much that I'm considering selling the car and cancelling my photography courses to get the money back. We have always lived comfortably and had whatever we wanted and needed. But since Christmas everything has gone wrong and I'm so annoyed that we used our savings to buy fun stuff like days out and a new x-box 360.

There's no point in me getting a second job because last time I did that, I was taxed so much more and ended up coming out with less than £50 a month extra, for working an additional 25 hours a week. Ugggghhhh. Life is so unfair sometimes.

Tara tagged me...

...So I thought I would do the post. I could do with something to do anyway, since there's nothing to watch on TV, and facebook is being a royal pain in the arse tonight! As usual though, I'll include a TON of pictures to break this up for you!

INSTRUCTIONS:

I can't actually think of anyone else since I only read 3 blogs and Tara has already done this!

What were you doing 10 years ago?

This is a nice easy question to begin with! I was 11, so I was in my first year of high school! Very probably worring about my hair and make up, and arranging to go shopping with my friends over the weekend.

What were you doing 1 year ago?

Much more difficult to answer! But I do know I'd have just finished work and would have been relaxing and getting ready for the weekend. I'm pretty sure my Mum was in hospital again this time last year, so I would have been preparing to visit her the following morning.

2. Biting my nails
3. Letting Des do EVERYTHING! I need to get my arse in gear and help out a bit more!

Me!

I love my Nikon D40. It was the best thing I ever bought!
I'm hoping that my photography courses will help me make it in the photography world...Unfortunately, my photographs aren't amazing at the moment! I'm hoping that practice practice and more practice help that!

Last week my computer died, so I have lost around 12,000+ photographs (about 5,000 were RAW files). This means I have to build up my collection again...I'm still annoyed about it actually!
