Was very tiring indeed!!This year, we invited our best friends over for dinner. They arrived on Christmas eve and stayed until the evening of Christmas day.
I was meant to cook, but since I overslept, Des took over the role and made a lovely turkey with all the trimmigs! I did make a trifle...That has to count, right?!
This year was the first year ever I haven't been excited about the whole 'thrill' of Christmas. Driving round looking at decorations, wrapping presents, opening gifts, setting the table etc. The only thing I looked forward to was spending time with those that mean the world to me...My family and friends!
