My New Toy...

I decided to upgrade my Nikon D40 to a Nikon D80. I gained an extra 4 megapixels and lots of fun features, including a grid reference! The focus points are amazing!


I've not had much chance to play around yet as I'm still reading the manual. Hopefully I should have some good photos to post soon!

Kitteh in a Dress!

I'm a mean pet owner! I put Yum-yum in a dress yesterday! Absolutely HILARIOUS! And not a single scratch...She actually didn't even notice it on her!

My humble abode

Well, I'm stuck for things to write, so I thought I'd do a virtual tour of my home! Des is upstairs sleeping right now, so I can't photograph the bedrooms, bathroom, hallway or loft conversion. The lounge and kitchen will have to do for now!

On another note - I started my new job today. I'm not impressed with Manchesters rush hour traffic to and from work, but I'm sure I'll get used to it. I set off at 7am for a 9am start - that's how bad the traffic was! Luckily I finished work 15 minutes early, so I got home before tonights rush hour began!

The Welsh Mountain Zoo

That's where I took my nephew, neice and neices best friend yesterday! Although the zoo is only little, I was absolutely knackered since it's located on a hill! I had around 12 hours sleep last night - that's how tired I was!

As usual, I took tons of photographs of the animals, and the kids of course! Enjoy...

Happy Birthday Tommy!

It was a friends 18th birthday today, so we decided to throw him a surprise party.

Every 4th Thursday, on payday, we go out for a curry. We told Tom that we were going tonight instead so that we could celebrate his 18th birthday. Little did he know that we had a surprise planned!

He walked into Stace's house, and we all screamed "SURPRISE!" And yep, he was surprised! I left just after midnight, and the party was in full swing. Even though I didn't have a drink and everyone was drunk, I still had a wonderful time. I just hope that Tom enjoyed himself too, and that he wasn't too disappointed that we didn't have curry!

I've been slacking

The truth is, I really don't have that much to write about. I could harp on about my depression, or work, but really, it's so boring! So...In my wisdom, I decided to post some photographs for you all! I'm enjoying water photographs again - Boring you with those, is better than boring you with my pity party!!
